I took the leap yesterday to invest in my writing again. To remind myself I’ve dedicated 22 years to writing. So I got an ad with browsing around Instagram and I was automatically hooked. I wanted them because the potential to use for prompt inspiration is astounding.
It’s called The Story Engine.
I’ve linked it so that you can look at their site and the cards. I decided to get the All-Trilogy, which is focused basically on their entire story engine set (at the time I purchased: 2208 cards)
As you can see, there are three main categories with a TON of expansions. I decided that this was the best option and would allow me to write in any genre, world, and other. I obsessed over this for the entirety of last Sunday. I could sit and think about the application of this to Arcane Arcana, Summoner’s Cadre, and even the entirety of the Sundryverse. The capability of forging whole new things and create more, has made me even more excited to push forward. I want to write. I want to explore.
I cannot wait to get my hands on this. It’s going to be an amazing resource. I’m thinking about actually doing a daily drabble on here and offer reading material but also for the writers to have their own prompts they can utilize for inspiration too.
