Dyani has gotten stuck with a meddling Goddess, a hot teacher, a fantastic group of friends, and to top it all off, starting the magical version of high school. Things haven’t been easy since the 24-year-old started at Dalition School of Magic, but she’s doing the best she can. There are haters and nerds, but doesn’t every school have those? With the announcement that the Tri-Annual Tournament is being held at the end of the year, Dyani pushes herself to the limit to reach the level that students much younger than her have.

Even with the help of a meddling Goddess, Dyani struggles not only with the school and bullies but also with learning that there is something much more at stake with each unraveled mystery. Samhain is around the corner and Dyani is trying to do her best to juggle learning a new culture while finishing up her nonmagical Master’s Degree in secret. With a growing attraction to her untouchable mentor, the first semester is starting to shape into a wild ride that could very well leave Dyani in the middle of something much bigger than her.
